“Fudgy” Sweet Potato Brownies Recipe and Sorry for the Lack of Posts

Between the engagement, wedding planning, and our recent move from Hoboken to Weehawken, the last few months have been a whirlwind…hence our lack of blog posts. For those who happened to see the recipe for the fudgy sweet potato brownies that we insta-vlogged (is there a name for this? I made that up…), I’ve been getting a lot of requests for the recipe so that gave me a kick in the bu** to start blogging again. 

Also – I know that I always say the recipes I post here are AMAZING (which is why I post them)…but this actually is one of the best healthy desserts I’ve ever made. If you are a chocolate lover – make and mangia, now.

All Natural Body Scrub, That Smells Like Heavenly Coffee

During the summer, I take advantage of nature and use that sand at the beach to exfoliate. I rub it on my body to remove the dead skin, and then rinse it off with the ocean water. The combination of the two leaves my skin soft and clear. That’s about as natural as you can get with skin care.  For the other 9 months of the year, I need something else to exfoliate at home.

Studio Review and jacnlex Discount Offer: 8 Springs Studio in Jersey City, NJ

Last Saturday, I got engaged (future post on the proposal and all of the details to come…naturally, it was while working out). My fiance (ahhh so much fun to say that), calls me “Luxury Lexie” because I tend to gravitate towards things that are newer, nicer and cleaner. For example, our apartment is a very old building and I’ve been begging him (pretty much since the day we moved in) to upgrade to a newer building. So “Luxury” Lexie is a little extreme, but I do prefer new over old (with anything), simply because it feels cleaner to me. That is why I was SO excited to try the brand new megaformer studio in Jersey City, which ironically happens to be on the first floor of the new “luxury” Cast Iron Loft apartments.
